Mom responds after a parent allegedly kidnapped her son over bullying claims

A Utah ma is opening up aft different genitor is accused of kidnapping her son, who she says bullied her child.

Amberlee Collazo told CBS News successful an exclusive interrogation that her son, Kristopher, is "going to person spot issues with radical for truthful long" aft the incident, which occurred successful September 2025.

Court documents allege Shannon Tufuga stopped Collazo's lad portion helium was connected his bike, forced him into her car and threatened to person her hubby bushed him up.

The 11-year-old said helium was going to apologize to Tufuga erstwhile she stopped him.

"I was gonna say, atrocious that … I got successful your way. But erstwhile I was astir to accidental that, she was like, 'No, F you, get successful my car, I'm taking you.'"

Prosecutors allege Tufuga drove Kristopher to her location and forced him to apologize to her child, whom she claimed helium bullied.

Collazo said the concern stems from an earlier brushwood Tufuga's kid had with Kristopher.

"He says, 'Mom, I called her … a rude sanction and I didn't mean to, but I didn't cognize what other to do. She won't permission maine alone,'" Collazo said her lad told her.
