A hiker's assemblage has been recovered by hunt and rescue crews successful Glacier National Park successful Montana, parkland officials said Thursday.
His remains were spotted Wednesday astir two-and-a-half miles up the Mt. Brown Trail, immoderate 50 feet disconnected the way "in a densely wooded country with downed timber," the officials said.
"His injuries are accordant with those sustained by a carnivore encounter," they said, adding that "wildlife and instrumentality enforcement unit are presently assessing the country for carnivore enactment and immoderate ongoing nationalist information concerns. The probe is ongoing."
That portion of the way has been closed until the probe is finished.
The National Park Service isn't releasing the victim's sanction until 3 days aft his next-of-kin are notified.
The work said Tuesday that a hunt was being conducted for a Fort Lauderdale, Florida antheral who was hiking and hadn't been heard from since Sunday night.
